Please Pray

A childhood friend of mine, kyle redford recently passed away. I don't really know any of the details, some kind of skateboard accident, but i'm asking anyone who reads this to please pray for his family during this hard time.

Boise

Cason and i drove to boise on friday, and came home on tuesday. Other than fighting about who would drive there and back-- it was a pretty good trip!

friday night was spent going through thousands of baby outfits. A couple of women my mom works with gave her all of their old baby clothes (sizes 0-12 months)...it was intense. I think there were about 4 HUGE boxes filled with clothes...in the end i managed to weed it down to about 1 box which is still way more than we need but it was free, so, why not?

saturday, we had lunch with jana and my mom, and just hung out. that night we decided to go to the canyon county fair...not such a great plan! Cason and i had never been to an actual fair, so we didn't really know what to expect...i went to see the animals...but uhh...there were no animals! i was really bummed! essentially, we spent $30 for cason to go on 2 rides, a bag of cotton candy (they didn't even have the kind on a stick!) and a really gross sno- cone. However, cason did win me a stuffed puppy, we were all pretty proud of him! I think he had a pretty good time, so it was worth the trip--AND we got to meet colin, jana's new boyfriend which made us feel pretty special!

Jana spoke at the singles ward on sunday, so that's where we went. it was weird being there with a husband on my hand and a baby in my belly, but it was kinda fun too! the rest of the day was spent napping and relaxing (my favorite)

we had planned to go home on monday, but after helping my family get a new computer, i was just too tired so we decided to stay an extra day.

it was a fun and laid back trip...i love spending time with my family!

A work in progress.

I've been told that as a semi-newlywed and mother- to - be that I'm required to have a blog...so here it is. It's not quite right yet--expect it to get fancier in the coming week or so. In the future it'll be a blog almost completely devoted to Lillian, but since she's not here yet here's an update on Cason and I.

Cason has finished another semester at BYU-I and has about 3 years left (it's gonna be a long ride!) He's not a huge fan of the school, or Rexburg, and talks a lot about transferring in the near future...we'll see what happens. He still plays video games like a 13 year old boy and has even got me playing with him a little--crazy, i know! He also LIVES off of roast beef--i'm not sure why, but it's all he seems to want these days...sometimes i wonder if he's pregnant too!

I've been spending my days and nights peeing every 30 minutes and nesting. I realize that Lilli will probably never live in this apartment, but i can't help but clean like a maniac anyhow. I vacuumed the apartment today with my little dust buster, because i was convinced it was doing a better job than my real vacuum. Yes, this meant crawling around on my hands and knees, and yes, i know i've gone crazy! I think i overdid the leaning and cooking for the day though because my feet are killing me! Luckily, my husband was nice enough to give me a foot rub :)

So, as you can see, our lives are pretty boring but happy these days. We're just anxiously awaiting the day our little girl arrives--5 more weeks!
