Toot.

I was clearing off the table when my darling daughter runs up behind me, gets her face right by my bum, and makes a big TOOT noise. {followed by peals of laughter... from all three of us}
She did this the whole time I was making dinner. Anywhere I went, she was right behind me, making my bum toot!

Lilli, you are the silliest little girl. I love being your mommy!

Easter

Overall, we had a pretty good Easter
The day got off to a rocky start due to sleep depravation, but we made it to church. It was a broadcasted Stake Conference from Utah, so we went to my parents ward to have extra help with Lillian. She did fine the first hour, not so great the second hour. Cason spent the last 40 minutes outside with her. After it was over, I looked everywhere for them, and couldn't see the car in the parking lot, so i thought they might have headed over to my parents house.

They didn't.

I called our house to see if maybe they went home for some reason, but i didn't get an answer.
We headed back to the church and they had been sitting in the car the whole time.

Oops.

Made a grumpy family even grumpier.

We went back to my parents house after we ALL took a long nap. We were much happier then.

After dinner, Lilli had an egg hunt- she had so much fun! Thanks mom, for doing that for her!

new words.

Lilli has learned a lot of new words this past week.

She now says:
Up
Down (dowww)
Stop
Go, go, go!
Nu-uh (which she says to me a lot!)
Bubbles (buh-bops)
Hug
Happy
Sick

Also, the cow says: Moo (ooooo)
and the bunny goes: hop hop hop (ha ha ha)

And she knows (but doesn't say)
Jesus (if you ask her where He is, she'll go find Him in her baby bible)
Mickey Mouse
Elmo
She also knows, and will show you her:
Eyes (she's known this one for months)
Ears
Nose
Mouth
Bellybutton

Silly Lilli

This is such a fun age! Lilli constantly has us laughing and amazes us with how smart she is!
We've recently discovered that she understands {almost} everything we say to her.
If i ask her to run? She runs.
If I ask her to find something that's lost? She finds it.
If I ask her if she's hungry? She walks to the fridge.
If I ask her if she can say something? She says it. {or more often than not... just says "YEA!" -smart alec.}
Etc., Etc...
Cason tried to disprove my theory by asking her where the turtle was - sure enough, she goes right to the turtle like "duh, dad" He then told her to go bounce on it (it's a bouncy toy) and she did! He was surprised... I wasn't.
I was however, surprised when I was listening to baby got back (don't judge me too harshly) and Lilli looks at me and says: "Baby!" I guess the time has come for us to start being more careful about what we listen to/ watch/say/ do in front of her!
{i had planned to put up several funny videos, but my photo program crashed, and they got deleted... i seriously almost cried- they were good ones!}
ps- i clipped her hair back while it was wet, and she pulled the clip out after church. That's why it looks so goofy.

Zoo!

We and the rest of Boise, spent our sunny Friday at the zoo!
Lillian was a little unsure about it all. I think it was because there were SO many people there! She's a bright and bubbly girl, but she does get shy sometimes around large groups. She had a look of awe when we showed her the animals, but didn't get too excited about anything.
That is until we got to the sheep! She loved feeding them!
The meerkats were her favorite. She'd follow them as they ran, and spin in circles. She cried and cried when we had to move on!
After the zoo, we went to West Side Drive In and got some tasty, fatty food! It was a really fun day!
