Boise Fry Company

It's spring break! We can't really afford to go anywhere this year, but we want to do a few fun things around town--

Today, we went to the Boise Fry Company. I'm not sure where Cason heard about it, but he said it was supposed to be pretty good. We got 4 different kinds of fries

Cason liked the purple vikings best, and I liked the yams... Lilli didn't really like any of them!

They also had a bunch of crazy sauces like acai and blueberry catchup and spicy fry sauce. I wasn't really a fan of any of the sauces... but I usually like my fries plain!

We had burgers on the "side" ...i thought mine was great, Cason wasn't impressed {we always disagree on what is and isn't a good burger}

Like I said... Lilli didn't love the food, but we took some pictures to make her grandma Dotson cringe!

Lillian did like all the people- the place was packed! I realize

d during out meal that we were sitting across from my 12th grade chemistry teacher... she was with her husband and 3 {or 4} year old son... it was kinda a weird feeling!

My favorite things {this week}

Lilli learning a new word: "baby" it is SO cute!

Taco night... Cason and Lilli tend to be underwhelmed by my cooking but they love tacos!

Soda... I wouldn't have made it through the migraines without it

Sleeping in... Lilli is waking up later and later, it's fantastic

Cason... for being a wonderful daddy and picking up the slack while i've been sick

Parks and Rec... oh how it makes me laugh!

Saturday Night

This is a typical Saturday night (and any other night really!)

She also (just to name a few things)

went to Tangled, walked/danced on books, and all 3 of us danced with our noisemakers. (boxes of rice)

Love.

I turned on bambi this morning so I could clean the bathroom.

When I came out, I saw Lilli, eyes glazed over, wearing nothing but a diaper, and her face covered in yogurt from breakfast... and I thought to myself: this is love.

We're so blessed to have her in our lives. And I am so happy to be her mom.

Juice Box

I got my first juice box on Sunday! I saw it in the fridge, and reached right in to take it! It was SOO yummy!!! I kept spilling it, but momma thought I looked so cute with it, she let me keep it... that is until I decided to crawl up the stairs with it!

Nursery

{9 am church is a little early for all of us}

Lill has her first official week of nursery on Sunday {she went with Cason and I as leaders from July- November}.

She did GREAT.

Cason and I took her, met the nursery leaders, and then snuck out while she looked at a toy. We stayed by the door listening for tears, but we didn't hear a thing, so we headed to Sunday School.

All through class, i expected to see her-- but we never did! We peeked through the door after class-- they were singing "follow the Prophet" and walking in a circle--Lilli was in the middle of the circle dancing away {no surprise there}.

Relief Society was hard on me-- I missed my little buddy! It was so hard on me not knowing exactly what she was doing, and how she was dealing with it all! As soon as the closing prayer was said, i dashed out the door and went to get my baby!

When i walked in she didn't even notice me! When i finally called out her name, she glanced up at me, and kept on playing! She didn't want to leave!! They said she did really well--a few small temper tantrums, but mostly she just had a lot of fun!
