OOF-OOF!

We headed to Utah this weekend to go to a friend's wedding.

I had lots of fun eating, shopping, and chatting with my sister's.

Lilli had fun soaking up all the attention, and running after nicole's puppies, jack and chloe.

She LOVES dogs, and pretty much wants to be one--she even tried a little dog food {oops}

She slept in my bed the last night and while she was sleeping she kept saying 'oof,oof' and shaking her bum, like she was wagging her little tail.

I should have taken a video the first night when the dogs were really excited too, but these ones are still pretty funny...enjoy!

Tonight's bath

Lilli has been a pain in the rear all day.

From the moment she woke up it's been constant screaming, crying, and rolling around having tantrums...until I gave her a bath this evening.

She was soooo cute! She loved squirting herself in the face with her toys, and boy was she talkative! Every time i said 'Jana' she'd respond with 'da' (doesn't sound like Jana to me, but she seems to think that it does) you can also hear her trying to say 'Nikki'...she's almost there, Aunties!

She also said 'cuhhh' {cup} and 'door' pretty clearly, and when i got her out of the tub, i said "where's Lilli?" she smiled real big, and pointed right at herself in the mirror, and then pointed at me and said 'ba, ba' {ma-ma} --and then, she belched loudly.

Some other cute things:

She's obsessed with touching her eyelashes. She'll sit around practically poking herself in the eye, saying 'eyes, eyes'

She's still 'ooof, oof'- ing a lot {she really wants to be a puppy!}

She loves to shut doors

Her favorite word is 'uh-oh'

Uncle Pat taught her how to give hand shakes over the weekend...it's pretty cute!

tired.

we moved last saturday....and it's been a pain!

But we love our little town home.

I'll start blogging more once i'm less tired!

Me: that's the thermostat.

Lilli: Why?

Me: Because it keeps us warm.

Why men shouldn't cook

We had hash browns and eggs for dinner tonight. Easy, right?

So Cason helped. He went to flip the hash browns and the...

"AAAAAHHHHH!"

Me: What happened???

Cason: I somehow flipped some of them out of the pan, and burnt my foot!!!

So he took a break form helping.

He then came over to fry some eggs...picked up the egg...and dropped it on the floor.

He looked at me in defeat and said, "Can i go now???"

Birthday number 2?

i think i may be turning into my cousin lindsay, because i already have a theme for lilli's next birthday!

i have no idea how i'm going to pull it off, in fact, part of me hopes that Lilli's Shaun obsession will have passed by then so i don't even have to try!

This week

I'm not feeling very well today, so i've spent most of the evening in bed. i woke up to learn that lilli had {organic} cookies for dinner, didn't brush her teeth, and isn't wearing jammies....at least Cason tried, right? :)

This week has been a weird one for us. all 3 of us are on CRAZY sleeping schedules since being in Ashton for the new year...but we're working on getting back on track.

Lilli is spending lots of time playing in her ball pit, cleaning up toys, taking her toy pelican for walks, sharing with us, running away from us in restaurants, befriending strangers, hating naps {no more binki's}, drinking from straws, saying "ow-sigh" {outside}, and always wants to go outside. I had the brilliant idea to trim her hair, and butchered the poor girls bangs...i just keep reminding myself that they looked weird before too!

We're still looking for jobs, but still no luck. We also filled out the paper work for a new apartment and we're praying we will get it! It's not my dream apartment. It doesn't have a washer/dryer for starters, or a second bathroom, or 3 bedrooms...but it's cheaper and significantly nicer than where we're living now, so i can't complain!

Hmm...what else happened this week?? We went to the mall and i discovered a children's clothing store called Crazy 8, and i'm in love! It's right up there with Gymboree and Baby Gap, but not quite as expensive...I'll still have to keep myself from going more than a couple of times a year though!

Annnd...that about sums up my weekly blog post...sorry it wasn't too exciting! :)
